François Bastin is a young photographer from Waimes.
His passion began in his teens, when he used his mobile phone to capture landscape photographs. Observing mountains, deserts and oceans through a screen has always appealed to him. In 2016, he spent a year discovering the United States, where his wonder at its varied landscapes was immortalized using an old camera given to him.
His thirst for escape then took him across Europe where, as an amateur, he continued to capture breathtaking views! In 2020, he took advantage of his confinement and time constraints to realize his dream of taking exceptional photos using a drone. For François, photography isn’t just beauty, it’s the transmission of emotions, a story he tells us. His specialties are landscape and travel photography.
